The Village of Deckerville officially welcomed three new businesses to town on Saturday, June 24, with back-to-back ribbon cutting celebrations.

American Tradition Outdoors, LLC, Made Your Way, LLC and KASH’D Out Beauty Bar are the newest faces of business in Deckerville, and village officials said they are a welcome addition to the community that has seen five new businesses open in the last few months.

“The addition of new businesses gives the residents a greater opportunity to do more shopping locally,” said Deckerville Village Council Trustee Susan Cesefske. “Deckerville is a caring community where people are still willing to help each other and to support our local businesses. Seeing people and businesses willing to invest in the village makes everyone a bit more hopeful for the future.”

Marcy Chernow smiles as she cuts the ribbon in front of Made Your Way, LLC, her new storefront at 3477 Main Street. Chernow specializes in sublimation, a printing technique, and offers unique, hand-crafted items such as wreathes, tumblers, mugs, apparel, and more.

Aprile Richards and her granddaughter, Saige Richards, cut the celebratory ribbon in front of American Tradition Outdoors, LLC. Dave and Aprile, along with their sons, David and Eric Richards – and their families – operate the manufacturing facility at 2109 Black River Street.
